In a nail biting back and forth between both teams, MLC once again comes out on top with their two substitute players against FPSL in this week's DLNS for NA.

FPS Lounge won a game against Get Candy in qualifiers to run it back against Melee Creeps for the throne in Deadlock Night Shift NA #46.

MLC notably has two substitute players this week, LordNM standing in as their sixth and League standing in for dew who couldn't make it due to hardware difficulties.

Game 1: MLC wins by a hair

Amber: FPS Lounge Sapphire: Melee Creeps

Bans: The Doorman, Mirage, Drifter, Viscous

In a close game between Melee Creeps and FPS Lounge with a frag score of 43 for both teams, Melee Creeps managed to take the victory 45 minutes in. The Saiah and JonJon dynamic duo on Ivy (3-5) and Venator (11-2) respectively kept enormous pressure on FPSL from the early game all the way to the end.

eidorian also had some great lasso picks as Holliday (14-6), allowing MLC to get off key pushes at times. They were, however, met by AVG's impressive Grey Talon (6-3), who had a whopping 75k player damage, which was the highest in the game by over 5k.

In a crazy tug of war where both teams made it into each other's bases, MLC first got a pick on Zeno, and decided to seize the opportunity to siege FPSL's patron which only had half a bar of health left at this point in the game.

Game 2: FPSL brings the heat

Draft: Holliday, Mirage, Drifter, Viscous

FPS Lounge decide they weren't going to let Melee Creeps get away with another close game, or a win going into game 2. With FPSL winning the second game, we will see a game 3 however FPSL was extremely dominate this game. Ending the game in just under 37 minutes, they did not let MLC have a second of breathing room, creating space and taking kills consistently through out the game.

Zeno had a very dominate game on The Doorman (7-4), while players like LordNM on Lash (1-11) had it rough. Overall, FPSL carried not only a soul lead but a death ball-esque momentum that MLC could not contest, leading to an almost effortless win for them.

Game 3: MLC took it personally

Draft: Draft: Holliday, Billy, Calico, Vyper

In what can only be described as putting a reverse Uno card on the table in game 3, MLC flipped the tables to win the 46th iteration of Night Shift against FPSL. In yet another controversial draft that had eyebrows raised and everyone questioning who was going to pilot each hero, MLC simply made it work, with their two substitute players to boot.

Melee Creeps put the pedal to the metal about halfway through what was a relatively even game. While FPSL had a stronger early game draft, with worries about a strong tempo and roaming team, MLC played it calm and patient to let their late game picks come online, which then dominated the game.

eidorian on Pocket (8-4) and fishcake on Abrams (8-7) were the two stand out stars for MLC this match, with eidorian pumping out massive amounts of damage during team fights and Fishcake having some crucial, crippling shoulder charges to pin FPSL down.

MLC didn't allow FPSL to have a single Mid Boss, taking four of them over the course of this 44 minute game. Their map control and steady pace won the race, putting them back on top of the DLNS NA throne.
