The first Deadlock Night Shift EU after the huge City Never Sleeps patch started with the return of Buff Enjoyers to the main stream. They had an electric clash against Abrahams that lasted 40 minutes of non-stop gunfire. together tried so hard to get into the money stage, but hoot stopped him in the last fight, getting Buff Enjoyers back to the finals after 2 weeks out.
Leviathan vs Buff Enjoyers
Game 1: sanya_sniper’s masterclass
Hidden King: Leviathan Archmother: Buff Enjoyers
Bans:
Mirage,
Rem,
Celeste,
Grey Talon
For the first game of the finals, Buff Enjoyers stole
Yamato from Leviathan and supplemented it with Lystic’s
Shiv and hoot’s
Viscous. Having strong lanes and a tanky frontline, they were supposed to suffocate Leviathan. Who in response, got sanya_sniper’s
Venator, ABL’s
Apollo, and empty dreams's
Infernus to counter the bruisers from Buff Enjoyers.
The game was very one-sided in Leviathan's favor. Obikym’s Yamato and Lystic’s Shiv were completely shut down, being unable to do anything besides feeding around the map. Without their front duo, the Buff Enjoyers squad collapsed under the high pressure from Leviathan.
Game 2: Early sleep in the City Never Sleeps
Hidden King: Leviathan Archmother: Buff Enjoyers
Bans:
Rem,
Infernus,
Venator,
Paradox
Leviathan went into the second game with a very aggressive draft, ready to build an early lead through the lanes and snowball. They got their hands on ABL’s
Yamato and sanya_sniper’s
Celeste. Buff Enjoyers, on the other hand, bet on hoot’s
Pocket and Zerggy’s
McGinnis to make the Rift and pit fights a living hell.
However, after a warm early game, Leviathan started to speed things up, hunting for kills and guardians around the 7-minute mark. With Buff Enjoyers bleeding all over the map, Leviathan were able to get the big objectives without much resistance. The game became totally out of reach, and Leviathan sent Buff Enjoyers to bed earlier today.
