The final day of Night Shift Open started off with the semifinals. Abrahams dominated Leviathan and secured their spot in the Grand Finals. On the other hand, Lowkey W had a very balanced first game against MLC until a huge team fight victory around the 30 minute mark allowed them to build momentum and control the map. The second game was extremely one-sided for Lowkey W, setting up a European Grand Finals.

Prize Pool

1st - Lowkey W - $6,000

2nd - Abrahams - $3,000

3rd/4th - Leviathan and Melee Creeps - $1,500

Game 1: That’s why Pocket is first ban

Abrahams and Lowkey W was meeting for their first time in this tournament. However, they are well known to each other, with Lowkey W holding a large advantage in their recent clashes. They have won all of the last 8 series against the Abrahams. On the other hand, Abrahams started the tournament very hot, being the only undefeated team of the first day.

The drafting phase started with Abrahams not banning Pocket – the most contested hero of the tournament – and letting cosmetical get their hands on it. The Russians seemed to have something prepared to counter it, but whatever it was, it didn't work. The whole game ran in favor of Lowkey W, with a strong frontline – Victor and Abrams – and the cores playing without being contested. With the game plan running perfectly, Lowkey W just did a Deadlock’s speedrun, closing the game at the 26 minute mark with a deathless Cosmetical's Pocket, Zerggy's Warden, and obikym's Sinclair.

Game 2: Zerggy and Hoot changed the world

On the second game's draft, Abrahams seemed to have learned and banned Pocket. However, Lowkey W was able to get Silver and Victor, building a strong front line with huge potential in urn fights and Viscous to sustain them. Abrahams responded with Shiv and Billy, also a strong duo that likes big team fights. The last pick of both teams was very controversial: Abrahams went with Lady Geist, adding more tankiness to the line, and Lowkey W went with the first Mina of the weekend.

Abrahams started the second game very well, with the lanes going in their favor and even getting a walker at the 13-minute mark. Lowkey W bet on team fights, the first big one was on a sneaky mid boss attempt around the 18 minute mark, with that they holded the pace and cut Abrahams' momentum. Things flipped completely in the next urn fight around the 20 minute mark. Where a very chaotic fight happened, Vraic's Viscous provided sustain to the front line, allowing Zerggy's Warden and Hoot's Silver to thrive and demolish Abrahams. Then, around the 25 minute mark, Abrahams tried to get a sneaky mid boss, but Lowkey W quickly responded and massacred them to end the game and the tournament.

Zerggy's Warden changed the world – at least in this tournament. He put up impressive performances and numbers, being the X-factor for Lowkey W. However, he wasn't shining alone. Cosmetical and hoot were very important in enabling Zerggy's gun carries throughout the weekend. Lystic was a very solid wall for the team, having a huge impact on the urn fights. The team seems to be back on the top spot of both EU and NA scene.
