This weekend kicked off the playoffs of W Tourney 01, and Leviathan ended up being the champions after beating Buff Enjoyers in an electric grand final. This was Leviathan's first title since oses departure in mid-June. Since then, they have had a drought, being absent from several Deadlock Night Shift EU finals and knocked out in the qualifiers in some weeks. They also suffered from roster instability that lasted for weeks.
W Tourney 01
The W Tourney 01 started last Tuesday with the group stage and ended last Sunday. The group stage brought few surprises but had some important results, like Abrahams having trouble winning against Trashcan and losing one game in the series, and Leviathan sweeping Buff Enjoyers 2-0 to finish first in their group.
However, in the playoffs, things were back to normal. Buff Enjoyers won 2-0 in dominant fashion against Fearless and had a very close win against Abrahams. On the other side of the bracket, Leviathan had no problem winning against Trashcan.
In the Grand Final, Buff Enjoyers were seeking revenge for their loss in the group stage and brought out their best weapons, like the invincible cosmetical's 
Pocket, vraic's 
Calico, and Zerggy's 
Warden. Yet Leviathan proved to be a completely new team when playing at their full potential and managed to win 3-2 against Buff Enjoyers' best heroes.

With this win, Leviathan broke their 9-series losing streak against Buff Enjoyers, with the last one being at DLNS EU #53, where they were swept. Leviathan proved in past European tournaments to be a very different team with ABL on the roster, who is banned from Night Shift events. They ended as runners-up in DeadChaps Gauntlet and took third place in R1 Tourney 02.
