Poppers Pupils remains on top of NA in DLNS #55

While the former MLC stars in New Legacy tried their best, Poppers Pupils still remains on top of NA.

eidorian's team, New Legacy, made their DLNS debut tonight in a BO1 against their former team: Melee Creeps. In a rather surprising and convincing fashion, New Legacy managed to win the match to earn their spot to face Poppers Pupils in tonight's NA money match.

Poppers Pupils was not pulling any punches going into this match. Everyone felt warmed up and primed, determined to win the cash prize once again. While the economy remained relatively even for about two thirds of the first match, it didn't paint the whole picture of what was happening. AVG's Warden (8-0) was a wrecking ball in not only player damage, but objective damager as well, easily slicing through New Legacy with no resistance.

Notably, in a DLNS first, adofan11 had a 0/0/0 KDA - not participating in a single fight, but not dying once either.

Overall, Poppers Pupils made quick work of this first game, ending it under the 30 minute mark and only 17 kills, with most of their souls coming from farming neutral camps and sieging New Legacy's base defenses.

If you think Poppers Pupils was done with their carnage, think again. Poppers Pupils had a steady economy lead this entire match and wasn't willing to let it go. Ending with only 9 frags, compared to Poppers Pupils's 45 frags, New Legacy still managed to draw this game out 6 whole minutes than the first match of the series, but ultimately fell.

While standout player dew did a stagger amount of damage on Paradox (1-6), players like zirbzy on Dynamo (4-1) and once again AVG on Calico (13-1) kept things locked down for Poppers Pupils.
