The R1 Tourney 02 group stage concluded today with Buff Enjoyers, Abrahams, Leviathan and Sneaky Team advancing to the playoffs. One more time, Buff Enjoyers proved to be the big boss in EU; this time they dropped just one game to Abrahams in the entire Group Stage and will go directly to the winners' finals. On the other hand, Sneaky Team secured the last spot and will need to make a losers' side run.

Final Group Standings

What to watch for

Abrahams and Leviathan will open the playoffs. Despite the same results as ever, this Leviathan is playing for the first time with their full roster. ABL is the main highlight and is trying to be the X-factor for them. He had some good games against Abrahams and Buff Enjoyers, but it wasn’t enough. This playoffs will be his last opportunity to play for now. Let's see how he will respond to this.

Who can stop Buff Enjoyers?

Buff Enjoyers seem almost unbeatable. Abrahams found a way to snatch a game from them, but that is all. The other teams didn't even come close to threatening them in any game. They are by far the best team in terms of understanding the meta, always getting the objectives or taking them from the opponents. When the first urn spawns, expect them to make smart moves and be very aggressive with the rejuvenators. Beyond that, they have a large hero pool that scares anyone. Zerggy has the gun heroes and Lash; cosmetical is always a threat with Pocket or Grey Talon; hoot and Lystic are exploring new heroes like Dynamo and Bebop.

Miracle run for Sneaky Team?

Sneaky Team is a very recent team but shows some promising things. Within less than a week of forming, they debuted in Deadlock Night Shift EU #44 by beating Leviathan and now secured their spot in the playoffs. A miracle run seems to be a very distant dream for them, but they can surprise even more. Abrahams and Leviathan might keep an eye on them.
