MidwayComprehensive 2-0 sweep for Melee Creep over Bird with Clock, with Saiah's support masterclass leading the charge.
Melee Creeps dominated #27 finals, winning convincingly over Bird with Clock. Two games, both one-sided, and the whole sweep finished in under an hour of total game time. When the dust settled, Melee Creeps were sitting on a +69 kill differential across the series.
Game 1: Tone Set Early
Map 1 was over in 30 minutes, and it never really felt like Bird with Clock found a stable footing. Saiah on 
Kelvin controlled the pace with a monster support performance: 4/0/25, over 65k healing, and a 9.67 KDA that earned MVP. While Kelvin kept everyone alive, the damage was handled up front — eidorian’s 
Calico went 11/4/19, and dew’s 
Shiv piled on 12 kills.
Bird with Clock’s best moments mostly came through Maht on 
Mina, who finished with 7 kills, but the team as a whole couldn’t keep trades even. The final kill count told the story: 47–22 for Melee Creeps.
Game 2: The Blowout
If Game 1 was lopsided, Game 2 was a full on wipe. Melee Creeps smashed through in 29 minutes with a 61–17 kill scoreline, and several Bird with Clock players ended up in double-digit deaths.
The headline was 
Paige. Saiah swapped onto her and dropped one of the wildest lines of the tournament: 6/1/32 for a 38.00 KDA. Saiah had 32 assists in a game where Bird with Clock managed only 28 total assists as a team.
And it wasn’t a one-man show. dew’s Mina led the kills with 16, fishcake’s 
Billy added 12, and JonJon’s 
Mirage went 9 kills with only 1 death. On the other side, both tanner and Arctic finished with 12 deaths, the kind of stat line you only see when the map is completely out of control.
The Road to the Finals
This is what made the finals result so jarring: Bird with Clock earned their spot here. They beat Floormen in the challenger match in a competitive 35-minute Bo1, led by gibz’s MVP 
Ivy game (2/2/23, 12.50 KDA). aidanthedestroye and Maht both posted 11+ KDA games too, and Bird with Clock looked composed from start to finish.
Then they ran into Melee Creeps — and the momentum disappeared immediately. gibz, who helped steer that challenger win, got shut down hard: 1/6 on 
Rem in Game 1, then 2/10 on 
Mo & Krill in Game 2.
By the Numbers
Melee Creeps were efficient and brutal across both maps:
Saiah: 16.75 average KDA, 57 total assists
JonJon: 11.75 average KDA on Venator/Mirage
fishcake: 9.17 average KDA, 22 kills
dew: 28 total kills, 7.25 average KDA
Even the economy gap was ugly — Melee Creeps averaged 39k+ souls per player, while Bird with Clock’s bottom three were stuck under 25k in both games.
