Comrade José
With Halloween around the corner, we had a spooky Deadlock Night Shift this week. For the first game of the night, Kastalia tried to confront their demons, but once again, Leviathan proved to be too much for them.
Buff Enjoyers vs Leviathan
Game 1: Leviathan hold strong
Once again, Leviathan reach the finals; once again, they challenge Buff Enjoyers. For the first game of the Deadlock Night Shift EU #62 finals, they seemed to have learned that you need to play perfectly and capitalize on every mistake to win against Buff Enjoyers.
The game started in favor of Buff Enjoyers, with Zerggy’s
Venator escaping death and cosmetical’s
Pocket dealing damage to Leviathan’s players. Everything was heading toward the end, with Buff Enjoyers getting the mid boss and Leviathan’s Patron fully exposed. Leviathan’s discipline showed: they held strong and defended the remains of their base, with empty dreams’
Mina getting four kills. Buff Enjoyers forced a final fight at the mid boss, but Leviathan were ready; disciplined and steady, they waited for the right moment to pick off Buff Enjoyers one by one, with Dimov’s
Mo & Krill and sanya_sniper's
Wraith leading the way to close the game.
Game 2: Demons exorcised
For the second game of the finals, Leviathan decided on an early-aggression draft with empty dreams’s
Celeste, Dimov’s
Solomon, and ABL’s
Grey Talon. Buff Enjoyers, on the other hand, tried a heavier team-fight composition with cosmetical’s Pocket, obikym’s Mina, and hoot’s
Paige.
Leviathan started very hot in the second game, quickly taking all of Buff Enjoyers’ guardians. They also managed to shut down Cosmetical’s Pocket with heroes that deal high spirit damage and constant pressure. Not only Cosmetical, but the entire Buff Enjoyers team was hunted down by Leviathan. The game became a huge snowball, with Leviathan in control, and they ended this spooky night for Buff Enjoyers.
