The Deadlock Night Shift EU #50 started as always, with Abrahams winning without breaking a sweat against Leviathan. After being eliminated by them in the DeadChaps Gauntlet last weekend, Abrahams turned things around and got their revenge in a very one-sided game.
Buff Enjoyers vs Abrahams
Game 1: The Buff Enjoyers' masterclass
The first game of the finals was a masterclass from Buff Enjoyers. Abrahams had a good laning phase, but it was the last time they could catch a breath in the game. Buff Enjoyers came hungry for this final; they took the lead at the end of the laning phase and started to suffocate Abrahams. The Russians tried to stay alive by taking the rifts, but with Holliday and Mo unable to secure pickoffs and bleeding kills around the map, the game turned out of reach.
Buff Enjoyers came with very mobile heroes, ready to hunt around the map and keep the ball rolling. hoot’s
Mirage, vraic’s
Calico, and cosmetical’s
Mina created a lot of chaos in the fights and counted on Lystic’s
Abrams to be their frontline.
Game 2: Masterclass, part 2
For the second game, Buff Enjoyers repeated the main core from the first game draft, with vraic’s
Calico, cosmetical’s
Mina, and Zerggy’s
Lash. They even let Abrahams take some of the meta heroes like
Lady Geist,
Pocket, and the signature Sharyk’s
Apollo.
The first game was the first part of Buff Enjoyers' tonight's masterclass, and the second game was the second chapter. The game felt like déjà vu, with Buff Enjoyers getting the early souls lead and suffocating Abrahams until the end. Sanya’s Pocket even tried to stop Buff Enjoyers’ big momentum by landing a six-man Affliction on the mid boss. However, it wasn’t enough to get a single kill, and that was where Abrahams saw how huge the gap between the teams really is.
cosmetical’s
Mina had a perfect second game with an 18/0/11 KDA, and vraic’s
Calico had a perfect night, ending with a combined 12/0/44 KDA across both games. Both earned the MVP spot and the biggest prize pool so far in DLNS EU.
