This weekend took place the DeadChaps Gauntlet, where the best teams in the EU clashed for a €5,000 prize pool. Buff Enjoyers, Abrahams, Leviathan, and Silence were directly invited to the event, and Dynamo Kiev, Fearless Furies, Slice’n Dice, and Echo Team came through the open qualifiers.
Buff Enjoyers outclassed all their opponents to claim the event. They dropped just one game all weekend to Leviathan. However, they swept the grand final against the same Leviathan, making a statement of being the best team in the world for now. In addition to winning this week, they have been very consistent in the Deadlock Night Shift EU week after week. With the NA teams going through a big roster mania that messed up all teams, Buff Enjoyers are currently the best and most consistent team.

Buff Enjoyers' weekend path
Buff Enjoyers started winning without problems against the open qualifier team, Echo Team. cosmetical took the opportunity to farm more stats for his 
Pocket, ending the game 16/0/16. In the second round of the winners bracket, they took down Silence without breaking a sweat.
The last two series were against Leviathan, first for the winners bracket finals, where they had their first and only loss. Overseas’ Mirage and ABL’s Yamato spoiled their perfect weekend. In the grand final, they didn’t have mercy, sweeping Leviathan 3-0 and taking the grand prize of €3,000.
cosmetical’s Pocket continues his reign of terror in the pro matches; he won all of his three games with the hero and combined for a 36/6/42 KDA.
vraic had an phenomenal week and claimed his first event MVP. He shined with strong tempo control heroes like 
Holliday, 
Calico, and 
Apollo.
Other highlights
- Leviathan is a completely different team with ABL. Without him, they struggled very hard to qualify for the DLNS EU main event, and with him, they outclassed Abrahams twice and snatched a game from Buff Enjoyers. He is currently banned from Deadlock Night Shift Events due to racist conduct.
- Abrahams needs to stay alert. They came to this tournament as the second seed and were expected to reach the Grand Finals. However, they lost two times to Leviathan and even struggled to get past Silence.
- Silence is the strongest of the weakest. They were hit with the transfer of Oses to MLC and seem to be far from the Big 3 of the EU. However, Silence proved this week that they are far ahead of the bottom teams like Slice’n Dice and Fearless Furies.
