Former FPS Lounge players have formed a new team, named Poppers Pupils, starting off their career strong by winning the first DLNS they play in against Melee Creeps.

Poppers Pupils is a brand new team that made their premier tonight in Deadlock Night Shift NA #47 against Melee Creeps.

The current Poppers Pupils roster is as follows:

With reportedly other FPS Lounge players that are still under contract working as substitute players currently.

With that introduction out of the way, let's sum up this night of games!

Game 1: A dominate game by Lefaa for Poppers Pupils

Amber: Melee Creeps, Sapphire: Poppers Pupils

Bans: Billy, The Doorman, Holliday, Paradox

Poppers Pupils starts off with a bang with Lefaa on Pocket. With key afflictions going out to subdue Melee Creeps, they did not have an answer for all the damage that Poppers Pupils was outputting. While MLC did manage to put up a decent fight for the majority of the game, Poppers Pupils' heroes like Pocket scaled harder into the late game, letting them take control and winning this match.

Game 2: dew carries Melee Creeps to victory

Amber: Poppers Pupils, Sapphire: Melee Creeps

Bans: Mirage, Paradox, Billy, Viscous

A title is worth a million words in this match where Melee Creeps claimed Pocket for themselves for dew. In an extremely impressive game, dew not only managed to go 15-3, but he dealt 116k player damage throughout this match and farmed almost 80k souls, one of the biggest leads DLNS has seen on a single character.

Due to dew's prowess on Pocket, much like Lefaa in game one, key Afflictions turned fights completely in Melee Creep's favor, allowing them to pull their teammates together for decisive team fights, winning them match two.

It is worth noting that Poppers Pupils did put up a really nasty fight against Melee Creeps despite dew's significant lead.

Game 3: Poppers Pupils cleans it up

Amber: Melee Creeps, Sapphire: Poppers Pupils

Bans: Viscous, Holliday, Pocket, Venator

Unfortunately, dew couldn't carry that momentum for Melee Creeps into game three. This is a series that didn't end with an explosive last game, but rather with a whimper as Poppers Pupils put their smarts to the test, denying both Pocket and Venator for Melee Creeps.

With a draft that was anything but comfortable for Melee Creeps, they couldn't manage to find any footing in this game. MLC let Billy through in this draft, allowing LOMEIN to pick it up, which would be a big part of their undoing.

While the official time of ending was a little over 28 minutes, Poppers Pupils was already pushed into MLC's base and had half of their Patron's health taken away at around 24 minutes. They backed off to buy items then continued their siege, ending the game in what would be a public execution of Melee Creeps.
