The Deadlock Night Shift EU #46 started with Buff Enjoyers stomping Leviathan in a masterclass from Lystic on
Shiv; he ended the game 20/1/20. Now they get their revenge series against Abrahams Abrahams.
Game 1: Mid boss effect
For the first game, Abrahams opened the draft with empty dreams'
Pocket; a longtime first ban in DLNS. Buff Enjoyers responded with hoot's
Mirage and vraic's
Calico, a duo with high map presence and spirit damage.
Last week, Abrahams won with high-pressure lanes and aggressive play, but in this game, Buff Enjoyers seemed to steal that approach. With Calico hunting for picks around the map, Mirage pressuring the lanes, and cosmetical's Shiv leading the way, they started to build their lead early. The mid-boss around the 20-minute mark made Buff Enjoyers gain momentum. From there, all fights went their way, pulling them out of sight from Abrahams and closing out the first game.
Game 2: Shutting Down Shiv
For the second game, Buff Enjoyers secured Lystic's Shiv and obikym's
The Doorman; two highly contested heroes. However, Abrahams prepared a very high-damage composition with arzo's
Venator, Empty Dreams'
Infernus, Tas'
Holliday, and together's
Billy as the frontline.
The game was pretty even until the first mid-boss. Around the 15-minute mark, Abrahams secured all rejuvs and got 4 kills from BE. From there, the game was going all Abrahams' way. Around the 20-minute mark, BE bounced back with a good, messy team fight at the urn. But once again, Abrahams gave a masterclass on how to fight around the mid-boss. With the second set of rejuvs, they regained the advantage and became too far for Buff Enjoyers to catch, forcing the third and final game.
Game 3: Lack of frogs
For the final game, Abrahams went with Empty Dreams'
Pocket again and prepared a composition ready to get in Buff Enjoyers' faces and shred them. Buff Enjoyers, on the other hand, secured a strong team-fight composition with Lystic's
Billy, Vraic's
Apollo, and Zerggy's
Infernus.
Both teams had a clear idea of how to win DLNS EU #46, and Abrahams started hotter, winning the lanes and securing the first mid-boss. The game was going very well for them, but Buff Enjoyers patiently waited for the right moments to fight back. Despite the advantage, Empty wasn't able to land good Afflictions, hitting just one player per use. Abrahams missed the frogs and saw Buff Enjoyers secure the next mid-boss after two disastrous team fights. With the advantage, BE didn't stop and kept securing objectives, cutting off any path for Abrahams to come back. Buff Enjoyers reclaimed their crown and ended their losing streak to Abrahams.
