Behind eidorian's absurd 23.67 KDA and MVP Saiah's support, Melee Creeps steamrolled their way to a clean 2-0 finals victory.

Melee Creeps sent a clear message in the #28 finals of Deadlock Night Shift NA, sweeping Bird with Clock 2-0 in a series that was never really in doubt.

Both games were over in roughly 30 minutes with Game 1 being 30:12 and 27:32 in Game 2. Melee Creeps controlled the pace the entire way. Bird with Clock never found a way to slow them down, let alone swing either game back in their favor.

Melee Creeps Controlled Everything

The numbers underline how one-sided this was. Across the two games, Melee Creeps finished with 91 kills to Bird with Clock's 43. They also built a major economy edge, averaging roughly 363k total souls across the series compared to about 302k for Bird with Clock.

eidorian was the standout statistically. He posted a combined 22/3/49 line across the series, good for a 23.67 KDA, while playing Calico in Game 1 and Mina in Game 2. He earned MVP in both games, opening with a 34.00 KDA on Calico before following it up with an 18.50 KDA on Mina in the second game.

JonJon was just as important to the result. Playing Venator in both games, he led the entire series with 25 kills and finished with a 7.50 KDA. He also topped the soul charts with 80,599 total souls, nearly 20,000 more than any Bird with Clock player managed.

Saiah Set the Tone

The broadcast named Saiah the series MVP, and the pick makes sense when you look at how much he influenced both games.

He finished the finals with a 12/5/37 line and a 9.80 KDA, but his impact went beyond the raw stat sheet. In Game 1, on Kelvin, he poured out 60,760 healing while dying only twice, giving Melee Creeps all the sustain they needed to keep pressure on. In Game 2, he swapped to Sinclair and played a more aggressive role, finishing 8/3/20 while still adding nearly 10,000 healing.

More importantly, he kept creating the openings that let the rest of Melee Creeps take over fights. Once those cracks appeared, eidorian and JonJon were quick to punish them.

Bird with Clock Never Settled In

Bird with Clock had no real answer for the pressure. Arctic put up the best fight, finishing with a combined 14/14/8 across Mina and Shiv, but a 1.57 KDA tells the story of how difficult the series was. Too often, he was left trying to do too much without enough support around him.

Geo had an especially rough finals, dying 23 times across the two games on Silver. That kind of pressure made it nearly impossible for Bird with Clock to stabilize.

The support line also struggled badly. gibz and coolcheese combined for just four kills and 27 deaths in the series. When the backline is getting collapsed on that often, the rest of the composition usually falls apart with it.

What This Means

Melee Creeps looked like the stronger team coming into the finals, and they backed it up with a dominant performance. Their coordination was sharper, their fights were cleaner, and Bird with Clock never got the series onto comfortable footing.

The combination of eidorian's teamfight pressure, JonJon's finishing power, and Saiah's ability to hold everything together is turning into a serious problem for opponents.

For Bird with Clock, this is the kind of loss that gives you a lot to review. Getting swept in a final is one thing. Getting swept this cleanly shows just how far they were from matching Melee Creeps in this set.
