Melee Creeps starts to reform their dynasty in NA DLNS #60

MLC once again shows New Legacy who is boss on the streets of the Big Apple, sweeping them 2-0.

With the introduction of two more heroes since last week, Solomon and Deadman Danny, anything was possible. New Legacy had a hard fought battle against Pulsar Esports to advance to the finals and fight for their part of the prize money against their old teammates.

Game 1: Melee Creeps plays chess

While Solomon has had a lower than average win rate in matchmaking thus far, Melee Creeps decided to take a chance with Zeno on the hero. Ultimately, he ended up doing the most player damage in the lobby, even with Parzelion on Rat King who has had an incredibly high win rate since release.

It was a rather standard match, with MLC slowly snowballing their way to victory, taking advantage of New Legacy's uncoordinated play. While NL is good at fragging, and has a very strong roster, their macro and team work needs to improve to compete with a team like MLC.

Game 2: Melee Creeps speedruns the competition

Unfortunately, not much else to say here. After an explosive showing in #60, NA was a bit of a lunch bag let down in the finals tonight. Melee Creeps managed to beat New Legacy in under 25 minutes in the second game, with an explosive game from LOMEIN on Bebop.

To New Legacy's credit, eidorian managed to garner the most player damage in the lobby on Grey Talon, but it just wasn't enough to keep their soul economy, macro, or team play anywhere near the level of Melee Creeps's tonight.

The good news is there should be more competition in North American coming soon, as announced yesterday, three new teams have formed and feature some exciting players returning to the scene such as Goober, Maht, and Calculator. You can read about the new teams and rosters here.
