Night Shift Open took place last weekend with the EU teams completely outclassing the NA teams. Only Melee Creeps was able to reach the top 4 and the money stage. Maybe the biggest disappointment of the event was Floormen getting kicked out in the group stage. They lost against Lowkey W and Leviathan, both EU teams, and now they decided to take a week break.
This seems like it was the last time we saw Dimov in NA, at least for now, with rumors suggesting the player will return to the EU scene.
This week, Floormen and FPS Lounge will be absent from DLNS NA #41, both probably rethinking their rosters and preparing big changes. With this, Work in Progress will debut in DLNS against Bird with Clock for the Challenger Bracket. MLC will wait for the winner.
WiP vs BwC
Before this week, Work in Progress had some good performances in the qualifier for Night Shift Open. They fell to BwC in the last round. Now they have the chance to get their revenge. The team roster is bsqt, Benas, Rumplefartskin32, Division, jbkreal, and mo.
BwC, on the other hand, have the chance to reach the money stage for the first time since DLNS NA #30, where they lost to MLC. Two questions are up this week: can the new faces challenge the old ones? Can WiP or BwC beat the current best NA team?
MLC
After an amazing result of winning the Death Slam Invitational, they were in the middle of last week's controversial DLNS NA, where Floormen forfeited the series in the first game. MLC started the Night Shift Open with a target on their backs. Despite reaching top 4, they didn’t win a single game against the EU teams. So MLC can use this week to rebuild their momentum and confidence, or even try some new - controversial or not - strats.
