Death Slam Invitational NA #3 took place last week, and the EU trio put up a strong performance. Lowkey W was the runner-up, losing to Melee Creeps in the Grand Finals, and Abrahams was able to finish in the top 4. On the other hand, Leviathan had a short-lived run and will need to make adjustments if they want to be in the top tier of the region.
If in previous weeks the roster changes were shaking the EU scene, now it’s the meta changes and the new urn mechanic. Last weekend we saw these changes in the Death Slam Invitational. Now it's time to see who really mastered it. This week, DLNS EU #40 will be the first event for EU teams to test each other without ping disadvantage. So will Abrahams or Leviathan be able to match Lowkey W's pace, or will Lowkey W continue to be at the top?
Abrahams vs Leviathan
They faced each other last weekend in the Death Slam Invitational, already on the new patch. Abrahams was superior and won the series 2-0. Leviathan fought well in both games, but they couldn’t stop empty dreams’s
Pocket, who just made the matchup completely lopsided. This time they will clash without high ping, but can Leviathan show something different from last week?
Lowkey W
Lowkey W was the runner-up of the Death Slam Invitational, losing to MLC. Despite losing in the Grand Finals, they played very well as always and won all games against the EU teams. The meta may have changed, but it seems Lowkey W is keeping up with the changes.
