Leviathan win W Tourney 02 and keep the momentum going

Leviathan conquered W Tourney 02, losing only two games throughout the event, and have now consolidated their position at the top of the EU region.

This weekend the playoffs of W Tourney 02 took place, with Leviathan consolidating themselves as the new powerhouse of the region. They had no problem winning 3-0 against Abrahams in the Grand Finals. This is the third title for the team with their full roster, namely W Tourney 01, W Tourney 02, and Deadlock Night Shift EU #57.

The tournament kicked off last Tuesday with the group phase, where Leviathan and Kastalia ended up with the best seeds. Both won their two games and advanced directly to Round 2 of the upper bracket.

In the playoffs, Leviathan had no problems until the end. They only dropped one game to Kastalia with a controversial draft and an inspired Kapten. However, without the experimentation, Leviathan won very comfortably.

ABL was unbanned from DLNS last week. In his first appearance, Leviathan made a perfect run. They won every game since the qualifiers: against Buff Enjoyers, the Challenger match against Kastalia, and the finals versus Abrahams. Now, in W Tourney 02, they were almost unstoppable. It seems that Leviathan at full strength are the best team in the region.
