EU Dominates in Day 1 of the Night Shift Open

Only four teams remain in the Night Shift Open, and tomorrow they will be fighting for cash. The teams that came out on top today were Abrahams, Lowkey W, Melee Creeps, and Leviathan. You'll notice right away the only North American team that qualified was Melee Creeps.

Prize pool distribution:

• First place: $6,000 USD
• Second place: $3,000 USD
• Third & Fourth place: $1,500 each

Highlights of the day:

• FPS Lounge, whom were one of the invited teams, fell to Abrahams in the Winners bracket then was swept by Bird with Clock in the Losers bracket, taking them out of the tournament.

• Melee Creeps also lost to Abrahams in the Winners bracket, then went against Bird with Clock in the Losers bracket, winning 2-1.

• Get Candy were defeated by Floormen, then by Leviathan.

• Floormen won against Get Candy, fell to Lowkey W 1-2, then met Leviathan in the Losers bracket and lost 0-2, knocking them out of the tournament.

• Abrahams is the only team that has not dropped a game thus far.

• Abrahams and Lowkey W are the only teams that did not play in the Losers bracket today.
