The Death Slam Invitational is now just a few days away, with Open Qualifiers set for May 16 and 17 at 1:00 PM EST. Tournament organizers issued a final reminder to teams this week, confirming that the rulebook is available, bracket previews are live, and rosters must be completed through Challonge before play begins.
The biggest point of emphasis is roster confirmation. Every team captain must invite their players to the team’s Challonge roster so tournament staff can verify that the registered lineup matches the team that will actually compete. Incomplete rosters risk disqualification when the tournament starts, with waitlisted teams ready to take their place if needed.
The Death Slam Invitational will feature 64 teams competing for a $10,000 prize pool, sponsored by Vizcom. The tournament poster highlights several major names in the field, including Melee Creeps, Abrahams, Floormen, and FPS Lounge. After qualifiers wrap, the Double Elimination Bracket is scheduled for May 23 and 24 at 1:00 PM EST, with live coverage planned through the Death Slam Events Twitch channel.

European teams Leviathan and Lowkey W are both being required to go through the qualifier bracket as the top two seeds. Other top qualifer teams are Bird with Clock (bwc) and Requiem with the other top four seeds.
