Melee Creeps posts 76 kills to Floorman's 41 while accumulating 151k more souls in two maps
Melee Creeps continued its control over North America beat Floormen in the finals of Night Shift NA #26. Melee Creeps record now stands at 15 straight.
While the score was 2–0, series felt decided early despite Floormen's efforts in Map 2 to make a series of it.
Map 1 (29:55)
The souls chart tells it all. After 3 minutes Floorman never led and Melee Creeps continued to pull away the entire match never losing the momentum. 43–13 was the frag total in under 30 minutes. dew and eidorian both finished deathless, which tells you everything about how the fights went.
And while those two were farming frags, JonJon was quietly doing JonJon things: 46.8k souls, top in the lobby. Multiply times Melee Creeps took team fights 5v6 as JonJon farmed in another lane.
Floormen had a couple guys who held their own with rocker's 4/5/7 box score but it was far too little as the game was never in doubt.
Map 2 (32:26)
Floormen bounced back in Map 2 challenging early to keep a much closer score. The kill score ended 33–28, with rocker leading the way for Floorman at 10/4/11, POSHYPOP stays relatively clean at 5/3/10, which created a foundation for a more closely contested Map 2.
But the key problem was the economy and souls still heavily favored Melee Creeps.
Melee Creeps finished with 246.2k souls to 174.2k for Floorman. A gap of over 70k was so big it makes the 33–28 score feel secondary. And once again, JonJon continued his off lane farm work sitting at the top of the souls column with a map leading 48.0. Newer Melee Creeps member dew was right behind him with 44.3k.
Melee Creeps had too much farm, too much stability, and too many people contributing. fishcake chips in 9 kills, eidorian stacks 20 assists as Melee Creeps got enough from everyone to close out Map 2.
